Biggest Cycling Week

It's much Hotter this week (100F) . I cycled through SCV many times with 63 miles logged including a 10 mile time trial during the Castaic Lake Triathlon. I came in 37 th overall and second in my group so was awarded a nice silver medal. My Family gave me a very appreciated Father's Day present. They came to the race to watch and cheer me on .

Looking forward to taking part in the Breath of Life Triathlon in Ventura .It is next Sunday June 25th.

Running Milestone

I just ran my biggest week of the year with 27.5 miles covered in five session. Penny the happy beagle came along for 17 miles. The weather was cool as "June gloom" is is effect this week. If you don't know it is a morning coastal haze that keeps temperatures from rising quickly in the summer.
