Los Angeles Triathlon

Look at those Waves !
Woohoo ! I finished first in my group at the Los Angeles Triathlon. I completed the sprint course in 1 hour 56 minutes and 51 seconds.
Swim is 600m ocean swim at Venice Beach , 21 mile bike ride on the boulevards of Los Angeles (sans voitures) and 3.1 mile run up Grand Avenue with a turn around at The spectacular Disney Concert Hall.
There were 462 finishers in the sprint. I waited around 90 mins to the end of the ceremony to receive my medal and saw they had run out !
I tried to trade lack of medal for a nice Transition bag with The race director but he would have none of it !
I should have lined up for a massage instead! ;)
