First Marathon

It is a relay marathon and as part of one the 5 SCV runners groups and so will carry the baton for 5.2 miles. there are 5 runners per team. I am planning to average my leg at 9 min per mile pace. I have no ambition of victory , just want to take part , Its always very exciting to run and race in a new location . Hopefully I won't be the slowest on the team !
